Arccos is a form of copy protection for DVD that adds an extra layer of protection to your content. It was developed by the disc manufacturing team at Sony.
Arccos formats the DVD is such a way that it is playable by all DVD players and computers. When a user tries to copy the DVD to their Hard Disk or do a 1 to 1 copy in a duplication machine, the Arccos data structure of the discs causes the PC or duplication machine to fail.
