The classic in disc packaging, the Jewel case is universally recognised as the retail CD pack. Commonly used for music albums.

The pack consists of a clear plastic top and bottom cover hinged in the middle with either a black, white of clear tray to hold the disc.

The case holds a booklet and usually has a printed tray card.
